May I present the lovely Tara Carpenter.
It doesn't happen very often, but every once in a while I do manage to snap a picture or two of her. The tricky part is getting it on the internet without her getting mad at me.

so little time.
Did a few little updates on the site and the blog.
Got a new logo up. Tara and I went back and forth with this for a little while (we have slightly different artistic taste). Finally came to a compromise, I did half and she did the other half. Please let us know what you think.
I'm sure we will be making little changes here and there for a while.

The site is finally live.
There aren't a whole lot of images up yet, but now that the general layout of the site is done we will be updating the site regularly. So on to what you ought to know about the site.
Splash/Intro page.
This is the first page you will see when you go to www.710photography.com. From here you will be able to access the main part of the site, this blog, and a client access page for proofing and ordering.
Main page.
Here you will find information, a gallery (only one right now), a calender, online ordering, blog, and a contact page. You can use the form to contact us directly from the site or you can use the following email addresses,

It's been a while.
So, first off the new year will bring many new things. A new website will be up in the coming weeks. Yes we will actually have a 710photography.com, should be very cool and we are really excited about it.
Next two things aren't really new, but I haven't posted anything about them yet.
We are now officially WPPI members. For those of you not in the know, WPPI stands for Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. It's one of the largest photographer organizations.
Second, we had a print chosen to hang in our print lab's new facility. It's no major award, but considering they print work for many big photographers it's a nice little surprise.
The last new news for the new year (at least for the moment) is the biggest. Tara, Ellie, and I will be making an addition to our humble little family in August. Yes, we are having a baby, rather Tara is having a baby; I'm just here for moral support.
It should be an exciting year to say the least.
